1923 Melbourne Sovereign PCGS MS64
Both the 1923M and 1924M sovereigns are considered semi-key dates. The 1923M has a mintage of 511,129 pieces, and is scarce in PCGS MS64 or finer. We’ve handled just three coins in MS65 since 2010, while examples in MS64 appear on the market two or three times a year. They can be considered plentiful in MS62 or lower, and are treated as bullion coins in circulated condition. Professional Coin Grading Service is the global leader in coin authentication and grading. With over 60 million coins graded and counting, PCGS is trusted by collectors, dealers, and investors to certify authenticity, protect value, and elevate market confidence. This is a direct conversion of the 70-point PCGS grade to a 10-point scale, intended to present the grade in a more intuitive format for newer collectors. It is not our personal opinion or an attempt at regrading the coin to a different standard.
