1920 Melbourne Sovereign PCGS MS62
Ultra-scarce date, and one of the few I’ve had in stock over the last few years. The last time I listed a 1920-M sovereign graded PCGS MS62 on the website was in February 2012. That coin sold for only $9,750. Subsequent sales through auction and retail channels overseas have been between $10,000 and $20,000. (One example, also graded PCGS MS62, sold for US$19,975 through a US auction in September 2012.) Very scarce this nice. Professional Coin Grading Service is the global leader in coin authentication and grading. With over 60 million coins graded and counting, PCGS is trusted by collectors, dealers, and investors to certify authenticity, protect value, and elevate market confidence. This is a direct conversion of the 70-point PCGS grade to a 10-point scale, intended to present the grade in a more intuitive format for newer collectors. It is not our personal opinion or an attempt at regrading the coin to a different standard.
