2019 Gold Proof Three Coin Sovereign Set Queen Elizabeth II
Royal Mint three-coin gold proof Sovereign set for 2019 featuring a 2019 'full' Sovereign, Half Sovereign and a Quarter Sovereign. This set comes in its original presentation box, the coins still sealed in their capsules. A certificate of authenticity is enclosed, confirming that this is one of just 1,000 sets of this type, issued in 2019. In total, the coins in this collection weigh 13.97 grams, equating to an actual gold weight of 12.80 grams. The gold content means that we can offer this set without VAT and the status of the three coins as UK legal tender means that the buyer can take advantage of a Capital Gains Tax exemption. The obverse of each piece features Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the fifth and final definitive portrait to feature on Her Majesty's coinage. The reverses all feature the classic and instantly recognisable image of England's patron saint. The St George design is the work of an Italian artist named Benedetto Pistrucci who created this engraving for the first modern Sovereigns, issued in 1817 during the reign of George III. Full Sovereigns and Half Sovereigns originated in this period but Quarter Sovereigns are a more recent innovation, minted first in 2009 and mostly found in proof sets these days. This limited edition set is in pristine condition and makes a great addition to any proof set collection. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
