2018 UK Brilliant Uncirculated Annual Thirteen Coin Set
The Royal Mint includes 13 coins in the 2018 UK annual BU collection. As well as the eight definitive circulating designs, five special commemorative releases are present. A Five Pound Crown first catches the eye and this one celebrates Prince George's 5th birthday in a striking St George and the Dragon reverse by Jody Clark. In one of three commemorative £2 pieces, the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's masterwork is celebrated in the Frankenstein £2. The remaining pair are the Royal Air Force £2 and the First World War Armistice £2, each celebrating a centenary year in 2018.
