2015 UK Commemorative Silver Proof Annual 5 Coin Set
From a limited edition presentation of just 1,500, this silver proof commemorative annual set features five key UK coins from 2015. The coins in this highly collectible Royal Mint collection are all struck in .925 sterling silver to proof standard, allowing you to enjoy these pieces as the artists intended. Each features Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Her Majesty the Queen to the obverse. In use since 1998, this fourth definitive effigy of Elizabeth II would be swapped out later in 2015 for Jody Clark’s fifth profile. That makes this Royal Mint silver set among the last to feature the fourth portrait. It features two £5 coins. First up, a design by Mark Richards, celebrating the legacy of Sir Winston Churchill, 50 years on from the legendary statesman’s death. Next, another piedfort Crown, designed by David Lawrence, this one looking back to the 1815 Battle of Waterloo which marked the end of the Napoleonic Wars. A pair of silver Two Pound coins are also included, the first marking the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta (designed by John Bergdahl) and the second recognising the contribution of the Royal Navy during the First World War (David Rowlands). Rounding out the group is a silver Fifty Pence piece commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle Of Britain. This UK silver proof set comes in a beautiful glossy black presentation case with each coin individually encapsulated, preserving the fine finish. A detailed information booklet and a certificate of authenticity are enclosed. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
