The Royal Mint's 2015 thirteen-coin annual BU set includes a number of special commemorative coins for significant anniversaries. A Five Pound Crown is pedestaled to mark 50 years since Winston Churchill's death, featuring the strong-willed leader in a reverse by Mark Richards. The second cupronickel Crown commemorates the decisive Battle of Waterloo's 200th anniversary. A naval £2, part of the wider World War One series, recalls the Royal Navy's efforts in the Great War and a £2 also marks the Magna Carta's 800th year. Finally, the Battle of Britain 75th anniversary 50p completes the unique designs present. The definitive 2015 £2-1p are also featured and these 13 base metal BU coins are capsuled in the original Royal Mint wallet. 2015 also marked a significant change in UK coinage: these pre-owned coins are among the last to feature Ian Rank-Broadley's definitive effigy of Elizabeth II before Jody Clark's portrait entered circulation.
