The reverses of these 2011 coins were chosen with a national competition resulting in dynamic and varied contributions from many first-time coinage artists. Included are Fifty Pence pieces celebrate Aquatics, Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Boccia, Boxing, Canoeing, Cycling, Equestrian, Fencing, Football, Goalball, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Modern Pentathlon, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Triathlon, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wheelchair Rugby, Wresting Also included: a 2012 Completer Medallion bearing the logo for the games and ‘2012 LONDON’. Each of the coins has the specifications of a circulating 50p, improved with an attractive Brilliant Uncirculated (BUnc) finish.
