The Royal Mint's year 2000 annual coin set celebrates the new millennium in brilliant uncirculated style. The nine-coin collection, originally produced for collectors, features the 2000 £2, £1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p in their standard definitive design. The much-loved round £1 depicts the heraldic and fantastical Welsh Dragon. Also included is a second Fifty Pence in celebration of 150 years of the Public Libraries Act of 1850. These nine coins are present in their classic base metals and finished to The Royal Mint's brilliant uncirculated standard, meaning they have been struck at least twice. Meanwhile, Elizabeth II's fourth definitive effigy, by Ian Rank-Broadley, is found on the obverse of each coin. Included is the original card wallet with built-in protective capsules. This pre-owned year 2000 collection of official UK coinage is a perfect gift for those who were born at the start of the Millennium!
