1990 Gibraltar Brilliant Uncirculated Annual Coin Set
This 1990 Gibraltar coin set, struck by the iconic Pobjoy Mint, was issued shortly after the British Overseas Territory adopted its own currency. And so this set of nine Gibraltar coins, from the £5 to 1p, is a collectable and early example of the currency, struck to brilliant uncirculated quality. The designs range from iconic wildlife to central figures to key landmarks important to Gibraltar. The collection also shows Raphael Maklouf's obverse effigy of Elizabeth II on the obverse. A particular striking coin is the Gibraltar £5, which features Hercules standing between two pillars.
