A 1983 Cook Islands proof coinage set, struck by The Royal Mint and presented in the display case and envelope. The 15 islands which make up the Cook Islands are stunning Pacific locations and, as a collective, they form the nation which uses the New Zealand Dollar. This seven-coin collection comprises the impressively large One Dollar coin down in denomination to the One Cent coin - all bearing the definitive Cook Islands coin design of 1983. This includes the Fairy Tern 20c, Pineapple 2c, and iconic Tangaroa $1. On the obverse of each is Elizabeth II's definitive effigy by Arnold Machin. All Cook Islands coins in this set are cupronickel, except the 1c and 2c, which are bronze. This pre-owned 1983 Cook Islands set promises to add some truly stunning coins to your set collection.
