Collectable eight-coin 1976 Trinidad and Tobago proof sets. Trinidad and Tobago became a republic in 1976 and these sought-after sets were produced by the Franklin Mint to celebrate. Enclosed are two .925 sterling silver coins (the $10 and $5 pieces), along with proof-finish $1, 50¢, 25¢, 10¢, 5¢ and 1¢ pieces, featuring designs including native birds, steel drums and local fauna. The obverses show the coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago. These coins are sealed in a protective sheet and come in an attractive presentation case with information sheets and a certificate of authenticity enclosed.
