The Arkansas Springs National Park Quarter is the first of the America the Beautiful Quarters, which ran from 2010 up to 2021. The Hot Springs National Park is the first of the 56 subjects to achieve the status, so this cupronickel US coin marks the beginning of the collectable series. It features a reverse showing the headquarters building of the Hot Springs Park, complete with a thermal fountain in the foreground. On the obverse of this 2010 Beautiful Quarter is the effigy of George Washington, credited to John Flanagan. The Denver and Philadelphia Mints shared the circulation mintage of the coin, with a total of 69,600,000 struck.
