2003 Maine State Quarter Dollar USA Coin
Maine's State Quarter is a special-issue US coin struck in 2003 as part of the 50-strong series. Donna Weaver designed the reverse, featuring a special landmark, the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. It also includes 'Victory Chimes', the last surviving Chesapeake Ram schooner. The obverse, meanwhile, shows the definitive portrait of George Washington, which is found on each coin. This 25¢ coin enjoys a standard strike by the Denver or Philadelphia Mint, in 5.67 grams of cupronickel. Our dropdown box invites you to choose which mint (D, P) you wish to fill Maine's spot in your State Quarter collection.
