The Royal Mint's celebration for 25 years of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone went full steam ahead with this Hogwarts Express 50p, here in special BU Strike Your Own presentation. The reverse takes Jim Kay's illustration of an awe-inspired Harry about to board the Hogwarts Express. The Royal Mint's Ffion Gwillim translated this depiction onto a 2022 UK Fifty Pence, also including a shimmering lenticular feature. The obverse of this cupronickel British coin, which weighs 8.00 grams, bears Jody Clark's definitive Elizabeth II portrait. The Strike Your Own brilliant uncirculated finish captures a small eyeful of the wonder found at King's Cross platform nine and three quarters. Included also is the original Royal Mint Experience folder which capsules the 27.30 millimetre coin within. This Harry Potter celebration could only be struck in-person between 10 - 24 December 2022. Data suggest only 3277 were struck in this narrow, festive, window. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
