2022 FA Cup Football Two Pound Brilliant Uncirculated Coin
Brilliant uncirculated 2022 FA Cup Two Pound coin in the original Royal Mint packaging. The FA Cup, formally the Football Association Challenge Cup, is the oldest association football competition in the world. With the exception of the First World War and the Second World War, it has been contested every year since the 1871/72 season. Wanderers FC won the inaugural tournament in 1872, which saw only 15 entries. By the 21st century, it has become one of the most famous knock-out football tournaments in the world, seeing 763 entries for the 2011/12 competition. In light of the 150th anniversary of the FA Cup's inauguration, The Royal Mint released this brilliant uncirculated Two Pound coin, which is the first ever UK coin to feature the trophy on its design. The 1911 trophy, which is the second design used for the competition, takes pride of place on the coin's reverse. Matt Dent and Christian Davies jointly designed it, which shows a majestic portrait of the cup. On the obverse, Jody Clark's official coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II can be seen. An inscription on the edge reads 'FOOTBALL'S GREATEST CUP COMPETITION'. Specifications of the pre-owned coin are a bimetallic alloy of cupronickel in the centre and a nickel-brass outer ring, a total diameter of 28.40 millimetres and a total weight of 12.00 grams. It comes issued in the original limited edition packaging from The Royal Mint. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
