2022 Commonwealth Five Pound Brilliant Uncirculated Mint Pack Coin
The third £5 coin and last in The Royal Mint's Queen's Reign series is the piece celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's contribution to the Commonwealth of Nations. It forms part of the UK coin releases during The Queen's platinum jubilee year. The Commonwealth an international organisation of nations mostly made up of nation states which were formally under the British Empire. The Queen serves as the head of this family of nations, which represent 54 countries and over 2.4 billion people. To symbolise this, illustrator P J Lynch places an array of flags representing the Commonwealth alongside the text at the top of the design reading 'HER COMMONWEALTH OF NATIONS'. Elizabeth II's personal signature is present in the centre, in common with the other two coins in the series.
