2022 Fifty Years Of Pride Fifty Pence Brilliant Uncirculated Coin
UK Pride's important fiftieth anniversary is celebrated by this Royal Mint 50p. Struck to a BUnc finish, this 2022 coin is the first time Britain's LGBTQ+ community has been honoured on British coinage. Activist Dominique Holmes captures the progressive mindset and inclusive nature of the movement through highlighting five key values of Pride upon rainbows. Flipping this piece over, the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark is found on the obverse. The Royal Mint, in line with other collectable 50 Pence coins, used 8.00 grams of cupronickel to strike this brilliant uncirculated coin, which has a diameter of 27.30 millimetres. This is a pre-owned special release, which is no longer available from the Mint. Included with your coin is the original folder which not only protects the 50p, but also features a commemorative history.
