2021 Through The Looking-Glass Five Pound Brilliant Uncirculated Mint Pack Coin
The Royal Mint celebrates 150 years of Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass in this £5 UK Crown. The adored sequel to Alice's first adventure is here commemorated with a BU finish. The reverse uses an original design from Sir John Tenniel - adapted by Ffion Gwillim - showing Alice meeting the entertaining Tweedledum and Tweedledee twins. Meanwhile, the obverse of this Five Pound coin features Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. The Victoria and Albert Museum collaborated with The Royal Mint to produce this fitting commemoration for a landmark anniversary of a British literature classic. Struck in 28.28 grams of cupronickel, this Crown coin has a diameter of 38.61 millimetres. This Through the Looking-Glass coin is no longer available from the Mint, and we offer this pre-owned coin in the original packaging. A nostalgic way to celebrate Alice's second wondrous adventure.
