2020 End Of World War Two Five Pound Brilliant Uncirculated Mint Pack Coin
In 2020 The Royal Mint and the Imperial War Museums marked 75 years since the end of the Second World War with a series of commemorative coins. This brilliant uncirculated edition celebrates the peace that millions rejoiced in and that would facilitate the birth of the United Nations. Co-designers Matt Dent and Christian Davies took inspiration from UK war memorials for this British coin's reverse. The words 'WAR' and 'PEACE' are interlinked, with emphasis placed on peace cutting through conflict, extinguishing the flames of 1939-45. Elizabeth II, who was 19 when WW2 concluded, occupies the obverse in a definitive design by Jody Clark. This BU WW2 anniversary Crown has a diameter of 38.61 millimetres coupled with a weight of 28.28 grams. It is stuck in cupronickel and has a Five Pound denominated value. No longer available from the Mint, this is a pre-owned coin offered with the original commemorative folder. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
