2020 Hylaeosaurus Fifty Pence Brilliant Uncirculated Dinosauria Coin
One of the first discovered dinosaurs, Hylaeosaurus, features on this BUnc Fifty Pence from The Royal Mint. Produced with the Natural History Museum, this British coin is one of three from the Dinosauria Collection within the popular Tales of the Earth series. The extinct herbivore, standing majestically in its Cretaceous habitat, is central to the reverse of this 50p designed by Robert Nicholls. Jody Clark's effigy of Elizabeth II features to obverse - her last definitive lifetime portrait. Comparable with other 50 Pence coins, 8.00 grams of cupronickel alloy is used to achieve a 27.30 millimetre diameter. This BU 50p is offered in the original folder: rich with information and colour about this founding specimen in palaeontology. No longer available from the Mint, we offer this pre-owned collectable coin in like-new condition. Perfect for those with a keen interest in dinosaurs, or as a gift for a dino-mad person you know!
