UK Strike Your Own 50 Pence in commemoration of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. Available only from The Royal Mint Experience in south Wales, this cupronickel 50p holds Stephen Raw's celebratory design as released across a number of finishes in 2018. The detective's iconic silhouette is featured centrally surrounded by titles of Conan Doyle's famous works. On the obverse side sits the definitive effigy of Elizabeth II designed by the Mint's Jody Clark. This Sherlock commemorative can only be detected in the Mint's offering between 28 June and 23 September 2019 and is therefore a considerably limited example of this special design. It is struck to brilliant uncirculated quality in 8.00 grams of cupronickel and this collectable finish is housed in the original Strike Your Own capsuled packaging, complete with thematic imagery and celebratory text. This pre-owned 27.30 millimetre 50p is key evidence in building a full case of special UK coins! System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
