2015 Royal Arms One Pound Brilliant Uncirculated Mint Pack Coin
A new stylised Royal Arms design was incorporated onto One Pound coins in 2015, which was one of the last 'round pound' coins to be issued by The Royal Mint. This BU 2015 edition features an updated design by the Royal Mint engraver, Timothy Noad. Noad's 2015 interpretation of the Royal Arms includes all four national plants of the United Kingdom at the bottom of the Arms - the English rose, Scottish thistle, Welsh leek and Northern Irish flax. The obverse of the nickel-brass coin shows the fifth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, and this is one of the first coins to officially use this effigy of The Queen. Each brilliant uncirculated, definitive coin is supplied in the official Royal Mint display pack. This is a pre-owned presentation of the BU Royal Arms British One Pound.
