From the oak tree of England to the leek of Wales, in 1984 a new series of designs was issued for One Pound coins, featuring the national flora for each of the Home Nations. This brilliant uncirculated One Pound represents Scotland in the definitive set, bearing a floral thistle design. The thistle, the national emblem of Scotland since the reign of Alexander III, is struck opposite the circulating effigy of Elizabeth II on this collectable, classic UK coin. This BU coin has a diameter of 22.50 millimetres and a weight of 9.50 grams. It is struck in a nickel-brass alloy and is one of 27,960 issued in this presentation. It comes in the original illustrated presentation pack from The Royal Mint. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
