Both sides of the coin commemorate this landmark mintage, starting with the grand reverse. On it, a proud kookaburra calls loudly in front a majestic sun. 2020 is the first year to feature a kookaburra on the obverse of the coin, as the original 1990 reverse design (also used in 2015) is included. Jody Clark's portrait of Elizabeth II also features in a cameo. The 30th anniversary is marked on both sides through special inscriptions.
