The 2016 American Eagle silver Dollar is an official bullion coin of the USA. These products of the United States Mint, since their 1986 introduction, feature two designs rooted in heraldry. The first is a work by Adolph A Weinman - the majestic Walking Liberty - originally found on the Half Dollar. His mid-stride Lady Liberty is on the obverse of this 2016 American Silver Eagle. On the reverse is a heraldic eagle complete with a shield and stars. John Mercanti took inspiration from the Great Seal of the United States for this patriotic reverse design. The collectable silver 2016 Eagle contains one troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver which, combined with its bullion finish and popular design, has cemented it in stacks and collections worldwide. Being an investment edition, no mintmark is found on the pre-owned coin you will receive. We have verified our 2016 American Eagle's authenticity and uncirculated status, allowing for confidence your US silver coin is one in the mintage of 37,701,500.
