In 2007, the Somalia African Wildlife Elephant series continued with this collectable issue, struck by the Bavarian State Mint. The touching reverse shows a mother and her calf shading under palm trees. This .999 silver coin, which is the ninth in the series, bears the Somali Arms on its obverse and boasts a silver content of one troy ounce. 2007 is a key year, as the face value was reduced from 1,000 to 100 Shillings. Reportedly, 20,000 of these bullion editions were struck, and the series remains highly popular today. This is a pre-owned 2007 Elephant, priced free from VAT and offered at our most competitive value for this collectable piece.
