This 2004 African Wildlife bullion coin is the first issue under the Somali Republic; while the opening entries were struck for Zambia, the Munich Mint changed issuers in this key year. The changing reverse design remained a feature, with this 2004 1oz Elephant showing the majestic creature standing alert among native plant life, with its ears pricked. The new obverse design, first struck on this 2004 African Wildlife Elephant, shows the Somalia Coat of Arms with the new denomination of 1,000 shillings (previously 1,000 Zambian Kwacha). Collectors report that as few as 5,000 2004 1oz Elephant coins were struck, making this a highly collectable entry in this series of Somali investment coins. Our pre-owned examples are ready to collect and offered at our best VAT-inclusive price. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
