The Krugerrand are almost exclusively thought of as a gold bullion coin. But on the 50th anniversary of the first issue of the gold 1oz Krugerrand coin in 2017, the South African Mint announced they would issue a silver edition of the famous bullion coin for the first time. The next year, bullion versions of the silver Krugerrand were made available to the public and have been issued every year since. These pre-owned one ounce silver Krugerrands are chosen from our current stock, which allows us to offer them at excellent prices. They're sold on the margin scheme as well, which means VAT is only paid on the dealer's margin, which gives you massive savings compared to purchasing new silver coins. Just like the gold editions, the obverse shows Otto Schultz's engraving of Afrikaner statesman, Paul Kruger, with the reverse showing the pronking springbok by Coert Steynberg. Each 0.999 fine silver coin contains exactly one troy ounce of the precious metal and measures 38.73 millimetres in diameter. Unlike the gold Krugerrands, these coins have the nominal monetary value of R1 (one rand) placed on the reverse. As with most pre-owned bullion coins, these 1oz silver Krugerrands may have some slight production marks or blemishes, which is perfectly normal and won't affect the bullion value of the coins. Order from The Britannia Coin Company and take advantage of the free delivery offer to UK addresses. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
