BullionByPost is proud to offer numismatic collectors a growing range of rare collectable coins, including this hammered gold Charles I Unite, dated 1625 and in good-fine condition. This gold coin features the first bust of Charles I in coronation robes, wearing a high double-arched crown on the obverse, and a crowned squared topped shield with elaborate garnishing on the reverse. You will receive the actual coin pictured. The Mintmark of 'Lis' is featured above the King's head after the word "R.E.X." The Mintmark is also on the reverse but is worn away. Struck at the Tower Mint in 1625. A very rare coin, in good fine condition.
