This 1924 American Double Eagle has a face value of $20. It is 0.9675 troy-ounce of fine gold. Graded to MS63 (UNC or near so).Slightly weak or average strike with moderate abrasions and hairlines of varying sizes. The picture is taken of a coin of the stated grade. You may not receive the exact coin pictured, but it will be a coin of the same grade and will be graded and slabbed by the same numismatic grading service. Issued from 1908 to 1933, the $20 Double Eagle features the Saint-Gauden design under the "LIBERTY" heading. The reverse has the eagle in flight and the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TWENTY DOLLARS" and "IN GOD WE TRUST". The lack of mintmark denotes the main mint in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
