According to Chinese mythology, the koi fish are associated with happiness and harmony and often used as a good luck symbol for a happy marriage. In feng shui, the ying yang symbol represents the balance between the positive and negative energies within 'chi', the life force of all living things on earth. Surrounding the koi fish are two dragons. The **dragon** is a divine being and a strong symbol of power, strength, wealth and luck. The transformation of the koi into a dragon is symbolized in the design by the intertwining of the colored whiskers. On the reverse of the coin the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is shown. The year of issue 2021, the weight and fineness as well as the denomination are also depicted.
