Struck from an impressive **5 Ounces of 99.9% silver** in proof quality, the design features a black and white portrait of the smiling Lady Di set in a picture frame. The portrait also features Princess Diana's handwritten signature. The inscriptions "DIANA" and "Princess of Wales" are also included in the design. The portrait is edged with rose vines and is displayed on a textured background. The blossoms of the vines have been plated with rose gold, giving the coin an exceptionally classy look. The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the monetary denomination, the year of issue and the fineness. The 5 Oz silver coin is limited to only 500 pieces worldwide with each coin having an individual edge number. **Princess Diana** was born Diana Frances Spencer on July 1, 1961, and married Prince Charles, the direct heir to the throne of Queen Elizabeth II, on July 29, 1981. Diana assumed numerous duties under the sign of the crown and showed extremely high social commitment. It was important to her to use her position wisely and to make the world a better place with the help of charity projects. Because of her pronounced compassion and warm-heartedness, Diana was given the nickname "Queen of Hearts". Even when her marriage to Prince Charles initially crumbled and eventually divorced, public interest in Diana did not wane. On August 31, 1997, she died in a tragic car accident in Paris. On July 1, 2021, she would have been 60 years old. The strictly limited **Diana - Princess of Wales 5 Oz silver coin with rose gold plating** is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
