### Mirror Dog - Year of the Dog (3.) 1 Oz Silver - Proof - Mintage of only 500 coins - Extra large diameter - An excellent example of Minter´s art - With an intriguing mirror image finish - In original Box with Certificate of Authenticity Mirror Dogs is the third coin in Tokelau’s Mirror Lunar series which commenced with the Year of the Monkey in 2016. The Year of the Dog will run from 16 February 2018 to 4 February 2019. In Chinese element theory, each zodiac sign is associated with one of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire and earth and each element appears in a 60 year cycle. 2018 represents the year of the Earth Dog whose particular characteristics include being a good communicator (unusual for Dog signs), being very loyal, good natured and responsible in work. This astounding 65mm 1oz pure silver coin features two classic Pointers with an intriguing mirror image finish, providing an excellent example of the Minter’s art. The coin is created in proof condition, with the Dog on one side sculpted proof with a highly polished proof table, the other side with a frosted table and polished Dog.
