### King Kong™ of Skull Island 5 Oz Silver - Prooflike - in Color - Rectangular Coin - Motive in Color - Limited Mintage only 199 pieces - With numbered Certificate of Authenticity - Delivery in original wooden Box The **rectangular silver coin** was struck from **five ounces of 99.9% silver** and is dedicated to the classic film **King Kong™**. The **motive in color** shows a depiction of King Kong™ on the Empire State Building holding Ann Darrow in his giant hand. The design is based on the cover of Dynamite Entertainment's “King Kong: The Great War” from 2023. The reverse features the coat of arms of Samoa, the inscriptions “5 DOLLARS”, “SAMOA 2024”, “SILVER.999 5 oz” and the copyright. **“King Kong™”** is a fictional giant ape created by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. The film spectacle of the same name conquered the big screen in 1932 - King Kong was not based on any literature at the time, but was created solely for the movie. The story of Kong, his home on Skull Island and the dramatic finale on the Empire State Building has fascinated and captivated audiences for almost a century. The cinematic landscape of the 1990s and 2000s spawned numerous remakes and adaptations, but Cooper's descendants turned to artist and writer Joe DeVito to develop the official sequel based around the original characters. DeVito's original stories - Skull Island and the history of Skull Island - revealed details about Carl Denham's journey to the island that was home to King Kong™, the events that led to the capture of King Kong™ and the aftermath of the battle on the Empire State Building. Limited to 199 pieces worldwide, the rectangular **King Kong™ of Skull Island 5 oz silver prooflike coin in color** is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
