The colorful motive features the iconic "spaghetti scene" from the film, in which Lady and the Tramp eat pasta together in an Italian restaurant. Both dogs chew on a single noodle and thus get closer to each other until it finally comes to a kiss. In the foreground is a montage of images from the film, depicted on an engraved film reel. The reverse features the Public Seal of Niue as well as denomination and year of issue. The Disney™ animated film **"Lady and the Tramp"** was already released in 1955 and tells about how the mongrel dog Tramp meets the well-behaved cocker spaniel dog Lady, who comes from a good home. After her owners have had offspring, Lady's relationship with their owners changes and she starts to struggle at home. She flees and by chance meets the cheeky street dog Tramp, whose charm she can't resist for long despite all their differences.
