As a mentor, Kenobi was responsible for training Anakin and his son Luke Skywalker™, who both in turn served as his Padawan in the ways of the Force. Kenobi met his former Padawan, now known as Darth Vader™, aboard the first Death Star. There he sacrificed himself in the battle against the dark Sith Lord to ensure Luke and his allies escape. In death, Kenobi became one with the Force to continue guiding Luke throughout the Galactic Civil War. The coin was struck by the **New Zealand Mint** from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality and depicts the legendary Jedi™ Master as he appeared in "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith™".
