He survived Order 66, an emergency order to immediately kill all Jedi after a betraying the Republic, and hid from the Empire on Dagobah after the Clone Wars. In the movie "STAR WARS: The Empire Strikes Back" Yoda™ began training Luke Skywalker™ as a Jedi after living in exile for 22 years. Following Skywalkers™ return to Dagobah 4 NSY to complete his interrupted training, Yoda died of old age at 900 years and became one with the Force. Despite his advanced age and respectable weakness, which he expressed with his walking stick, Yoda™ was a highly intelligent being with seemingly inexhaustible knowledge.
