She was appointed Queen of Naboo at the age of 14, but resigned from the post 8 years later and then officially represented the people of Naboo as a senator in the Senate. Padmé first met Anakin Skywalker™ on the remote desert world of Tatooine and fell in love with him many years later. She died in 19 VSY after giving birth to twins Luke Skywalker™ and Leia Organa™.
