### Australia at Night (12.) - Bottlenose Dolphin 1 Oz Silver - Black Proof - 12th Issue of the Australia at Night Series - 99.9% Silver with Black Proof Finish - Mintage only 1,000 pieces - With numbered Certificate of Authenticity - Delivery in original wooden Box The twelfth issue of the **Australia at Night Series** is dedicated to the **Bottlenose Dolphin**. The coin with **Black Proof finish** was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and is **limited to only 1,000 pieces** worldwide. The motive depicts a female bottlenose dolphin with her calf. The two animals are depicted on a full moon night in the middle of a coral reef. Also included in the design is the inscription “AUSTRALIA AT NIGHT - BOTTLENOSE DOLPHIN”. The combination of the coin's silver color and the black proof finish creates a high-contrast effect that lends the maritime scene a special atmosphere and at the same time emphasizes the varying brightness of the bottlenose dolphin's grey colouring. The reverse shows the portrait of King Charles III and the inscriptions “ONE DOLLAR”, “1OZ 999 SILVER” and “NIUE 2025”. The Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) is found in all of the world's oceans and is probably the best known of all dolphin species. The dolphin, whose life expectancy in the wild is around 20-25 years, can be recognized by its characteristic short nose, to which it owes its name “Bottlenose Dolphin”. The **limited Australia at Night - Bottlenose Dolphin Black Proof silver coin** is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
