This Pre-Owned 2023 Australian Dragon Rectangular 1oz Silver Coin features a beautifully detailed design showing a stylised dragon, ferociously swirling through the clouds, within a unique rectangular design. The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark is also shown. The obverse of the coin bears a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the dates of her reign 1952-2022 shown above. The coin's weight, fineness, monetary denomination, and year-date also feature. - Contains 1 troy ounce of 999.9 fine silver. - Manufactured by Perth Mint, Australia. - Struck to a bullion finish. - VAT free. - Approximate dimensions: 47.60mm x 27.60mm x 5.60mm. These unusual silver coins are rectangular-shaped like a bar. However, they bear a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, along with a legal tender face value backed by the Australian government, thus they qualify as coinage. Dragons are revered in Chinese culture as divine creatures who govern the wind and waves; they are symbols of good luck, strength, power, and wealth. They are linked to the "yang," the masculine principle of the yin and yang. These coins are sold under the second-hand margin scheme so there is no VAT for the client to pay.
