### Space Pioneers - 50th Anniversary Moon Landing 1 Oz Silver - Proof - in Color - Motive in Color - 99.9% Silver - Mintage only 1,500 pieces - With numbered Certificate of Authenticity - Delivery in original Box On the occasion of the **50th anniversary of the moon landing**, New Zealand has issued this **Silver coin** in color. The motive creates the impression that the viewer is behind the moon and looks from there to the moon and the earth. The visible part of the earth shows New Zealand, above it is the starry sky with the constellation "Southern Cross", alluding to the stars of the New Zealand flag. The edge of the coin is designed to look like the inside of a rocket or the window of a space station. The edge of the coin contains the mirrored inscriptions "SPACE PIONEERS" and "ONE DOLLAR." The background has been deepened to enhance the sculptural impression. The reverse features the Ian Rand-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the weight, fineness, state of issue and year of issue. The silver proof coin commemorates New Zealand's own contribution to space exploration and honors New Zealanders among the pioneers who have impressively expanded our knowledge of the universe. Limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide, the silver coin **"Space Pioneers"** is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
