### 150th Anniversary of Peter Behrens 20 Euro - 18 gr. Silver - Proof - 18 Gram Silver - Coin of the German Mint Berlin - Mintmark A - Mintage not yet known - In Blistercard This 20 Euro **silver coin** is dedicated to the 150th birthday of Peter Behrens (1868-1940) and was struck in the German mint Berlin. The German architect, painter and designer is considered to be a pioneer of modern industrial design. The **silver commemorative coin in proof quality** shows Behrens in front of one of his architectural works, the Turbine Factory in Berlin. The building was built around 1909 and is a well-known example of industrial architecture. The coin design by the artist Anna Steinmann contains the inscription '150. GEBURTSTAG PETER BEHRENS'. The value side shows the federal eagle, 12 European stars and the inscriptions '**BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND**', 'SILBER 925', **'20 EURO'** and the mintmark 'A' for the German **Mint in Berlin**. The rimless commemorative coin contains the inscription: 'IM UEBRIGEN AUTODIDAKT' (besides autodidact). This silver commemorative coin comes in an illustrated blistercard.
