### Vicco von Bülow - Loriot - 100th Anniversary 20 Euro - 18 Gram Silver - Proof - Commemorative Coin - Coin of the German Mint Berlin - Mintmark A - Mintage max 120,000 pieces - Delivery in Blistercard Germany dedicates this **20 Euro Silver coin** to the **100th anniversary of Vicco von Bülow (Loriot)**. The motive was designed by the Studio Loriot and the State Mint of Berlin and shows the "Rosenkavalier", which is one of the most famous drawings of the German humorist, which Vicco von Bülow often sketched next to his autographs. The rose is given special emphasis by its color scheme in red and green, giving the motive an outstanding look. The design is framed by the inscriptions "VICCO VON BÜLOW", "LORIOT" and "1923-2011". The reverse shows the federal eagle, the inscription "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND", the denomination, the year of issue, the twelve stars of Europe and the mintmark "A" of the mint Berlin. The edge of the coin contains the inscription "ACH WAS". **Loriot** was born on November 12th, 1923 as Bernhard-Viktor Christoph-Carl von Bülow, short Vicco von Bülow, in Brandenburg an der Havel and died on August 22nd, 2011 in Ammerland. The stage name "Loriot" (engl.: oriole) refers to his descent from a noble family whose heraldic animal is the oriole. His first attempts as a cartoonist followed his studies in graphics and painting. Loriot's drawings always dealt with interpersonal relationships and left much room for interpretation by the reader. Loriot drew for the magazine "Stern," among others, and in addition to his work as a cartoonist, he also entered the film and television industry. He produced the feature film comedies "Oedipussi" and "Pappa ante Portas," in which he also starred. To this day, his sketches are unforgotten and have had a lasting impact on the humor of a large number of people. The **20 Euro commemorative coin "100th anniversary of Vicco von Bülow (Loriot)"** in proof quality is delivered in a blistercard.
