This silver coin is dedicated to the **Rafale** - an iconic aircraft of the French manufacturer Dassault Aviation. The twin-engine, multirole combat aircraft was developed after France left the Eurofighter consortium. The Rafale had its first flight in 1986 and is still in service with the French armed forces today. The motive of the **euro silver coin** features the Rafale fighter jet in flight.
