2017 15 gram China Panda .999 Gold Coin
Struck from .999 fine gold, each of the panda gold coin is legal tender with a face value of 200 Yuan. It contains 15 grams (0.48225 troy oz) of fine gold content. The coin that you receive comes with its sealed plastic sheet from the mint. The coin measures 27 mm in diameter. The reverse design features an adorable panda playing with a bamboo. The background is filled by a wall of bamboo stalks, and the legal tender denomination of 200 Yuan is indicated just below the panda. A portion of the top and bottom of the reverse design employs an attractive bamboo leaf pattern. Within this bottom portion, the coin's technical specifications are inscribed: "15g Au .999." The obverse features the familiar facade of the Temple of Heaven's Hall of Good Harvests, a distinctive building located in Beijing. It also includes the year-date "2017" at the bottom rim, while the top rim is filled by inscriptions that translate to the issuing country, the People's Republic of China.
