When five bats are depicted together it is said to be a visual representation of the Five Blessings which include longevity, wealth, health and composure, virtue, and the desire to die a natural death in old age. ## 99.9% Pure Silver Each coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver. ## Five Blessings Reverse Design The reverse of the coin features five bats surrounding the Chinese character for fú, meaning prosperity, together with a mix of peonies and peach motifs. The design also features the inscription FIVE BLESSINGS and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. ## Australian Legal Tender Issued as legal tender under the Australian *Currency Act 1965*, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, the coin’s weight and fineness, and the 2016 year-date are shown on the coin’s obverse. ## Limited Mintage The Perth Mint will release no more than 10,000 of the Five Blessings 2016 1oz Silver Coin. ## Presentation Packaging and Numbered Certificate The coin is housed in in a classic presentation case and custom-designed shipper.
