A portion of the top and bottom of the reverse design employs an attractive bamboo leaf pattern. Within this bottom portion, the coin's technical specifications are inscribed: "30g Au .999." The obverse bears the familiar facade of the Temple of Heaven's Hall of Good Harvests, a distinctive building located in Beijing. This image is contained within an inner ring. The outer ring contains the year-date "2016" at the bottom rim, while the top rim is filled by inscriptions that translate to the issuing country, the People's Republic of China.
