The reverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and depicts a scene with the capsized ship shortly after its shipwreck. In the foreground loaded goods of the ship are floating in the water and some sailors try to escape on a small boat. In the background the tilting sailing ship is depicted.
