Each coins reverse depicts an impressive Wedge-Tailed Eagle in mid-flight as it prepares to land on a tree branch. The design also includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE, the 2015 year-date and The Perth Mints P mintmark. ## Australian Legal Tender Each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian *Currency Act 1965* and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the monetary denomination, on the obverse.
