### America the Beautiful - San Antonio Missions National Historical Park (49.) 5 Oz Silver - Uncirculated - 49th Issue from the "America the Beautiful" Series - 99.9% Silver - Delivery in Capsule The 49th issue of the US-American series **"America the Beautiful"** is dedicated to the **San Antonio Missions National Historical Park**. San Antonio Missions is a group of historic buildings in Bexar County, Texas. The land belonging to the buildings was declared as National Historical Park on 1st April in 1983. The missions and forts in San Antonio indicate the strong Spanish influence during the colonization of this region. The motive of the coin shows elements of the Spanish real coin in memory of the missions. Within the quadrants there are symbols of the missions: Wheat as a symbol of agriculture, arches and bells symbolize community, a lion represents Spanish cultural heritage and a symbol of the San Antonio River represents irrigation methods and life-sustaining resources. The inscriptions "SAN ANTONIO MISSIONS", "TEXAS", "2019" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" are also included in the design. The reverse features a portrait of George Washington and the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "LIBERTY", "IN GOD WE TRUST", and "QUARTER DOLLAR". The coin is delivered in a protective capsule.
